What`s Up: Satisfying Struggle
0500 is today`s call time for our annual field trip to Batis Aramin at Lucban, Quezon. We board the bus around 0510 and left 5 minutes after. As expected, because I never had long trip for a long time, I became dizzy but fortunately didn`t threw up. I managed to sleep on the way while others are struggling to do the same. Waking up, I noticed we were in the borders of Quezon already. We went through a zigzag road which was awful to take. The surrounding green stuffs around was wonderful. At the back part most, a big triangular figure caught my attention. It was Mount Banahaw which challenged me because it took me several times before I got a nice picture and video of it (or at least it passed my standards in picture taking).
Upon arrival at the hotel and resort, it somehow exceeded my expectation since I didn`t do a preview of the venue. The styles of dorm was a big hit for me. Different big houses with different types and kinds of rooms to choose from. Its like living in a big university with dorms nearby to live in. Going back, the set of activities were also fun especially the zip line (though is was low in height that didn`t gave much thrill but it was my first time so, yeah, it was fine. Then the rappelling part was kinda boring since also the height was not that tall. The strolling part in the afternoon gave us the opportunity to view the wonders of nature. By the night came, social night started and fun and chill came along as the night got deeper.

What`s Up: Yes to More Memories!
Before leaving the resort, we had time to enjoy the swimming pool. We were like sardines as you know it when 11th graders occupied the pool. And before satisfying ourselves with our lunch, me and my gang took the opportunity to take pictures with each other and create another set of memories. What a treat when I was able to take pictures together with one of my lodicakes, Sir Jhaz, for he presents himself the best way he knows and confident enough with his identity. We departed the place with great smiles and continuation of seeking happy and enjoyable moments.

What`s Up: Delight!
Another hours of usual tiring and progressing day for everyone. Our home is under renovation little by little. Only every a freelance construction worker is available during sundays and after work hours which is beyond 1700 or 5 pm (don’t be confused when I use military time because I prefer that rather than the 12 hour clock basis). But that day, thursday, was different because Richard, the worker, had no work that day to his foreman because it’s holiday the next morning. Meanwhile the mason is doing his business, I grabbed a hammer, a nail, placed a ladder, and started ticking off the ceiling to make it’s texture rough. So the next time a cement will be thrown to it, it’ll stick. During the sideline, my father and I went to Shopwise to buy few grocery stock. After going to the market, we unexpectedly stop by a small sari-sari store and bought a gallon of ice cream. Next to the store was a burger stand which we also bought burgers for the family. He said it was for a job well done that day. I guess it was the fruit of out labor. What a delight!

What`s Up: An Unexpected Comeback!

First thing in the morning, my family started preparing so that we could visit our departed relatives in Manila early. We reached Binondo before lunch so we decided pull over and enjoy the view of rain drops falling from the sky while eating by the famous lumpiang sariwa restaurant in town. As expected, their best seller was a hit that we ordered another round of it. Soon as the rain stopped, we hit the road and continue travelling on foot. I was excited when we are stepping on the train station stairs. I get to finally ride a train again after several long years.
Upon stopping on the cemetery gate, a breeze of nostalgic aura passed by me. We spent the afternoon bonding with our relatives, of course, around our great grandparents, grandmother, and uncle’s grave. Before the sun touches the horizon, we split ways back to our homes and waved each other goodbye. Though it was not as complete as the previous reunions, still it was a memory to remember.
En route back to Binondo, we stopped by a fast food chain to fulfill our stomach’s desires. After claiming our order, a text triggered everyone’s smile. My brother told us to drop by his workplace and dine there instead. What’s even better was it was his treat. We wrapped the food and took it out and went straight to Vista Mall and searched for the restaurant he was working for. The place was full of both hungry and satisfied customers dining. At first glance, I saw a big guy holding set of plates in his arms delivering it to different tables and our eyes matched. It’s been several months since my family seen him and vice versa. We escorted us to our reserved table happily. Excitement and joy were overspilling over my family’s aura the entire time. We only got to chat a little bit when we’re started munching the fall-off-to-the-bone ribs and savory chicken with 8 different yummy and spicy sauces. This was a night of unexpected comeback for our family reunion.

What`s Up: Trick or Thresh!

As soon as the sun shines, i woke up to commence my daily morning exercise routine. i did some push ups and planking for about a minute. Afterwards, I decided to get my hair done since first monday of the month is in two days. Better get myself to safety. During the haircut, I got to converse with my barber. The whole time, I liked my hair. Looking sideways, and the back part. Fortunately, the end part was good as well (Don`t you think?)
In the afternoon, I got to play League of Legends. It s been many years the last time I played so its time to check my skill. This time, I played a support role champion (character) named, Thresh, which specializes in crowd controlling enemies with his hook and underworld related powers. In the photo, there you will see my previous match ups. And nonetheless, the first two green monster-like`pictures is Thresh. The numbers dictates my kills/ my deaths/ and my support, accordingly. And as you cas see, despite my one victory and one defeat game, I got pretty much high support standing during the play. What can I say? I think I still have the talent, though I just need to practice some more to regain knowledge about the game updates.
